Transformation

Paragon Architects South Africa (Pty) Ltd is 51% black South African-owned and LEVEL 1 BBBEE certified. Strategic decision making rests with all shareholders, but day to day operations, human resources, planning and management are the responsibility of the Black partner, Thulani Sibande, who was appointed to this position in November 2012.

Paragon Group Knowledge Fund

As part of our Corporate Social Investment, we support the education of staff members from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well as the secondary and tertiary education of the dependants of Black staff members. Our Corporate Social Investment programme is anchored in the Paragon Group Knowledge Fund, operational from March 2010. The Fund generates income from operational efficiencies triggered in the company, accrued on an annual basis.

All staff members can apply for all types of educational funding for themselves and their immediate economic dependents, on an annual cycle basis. The fund will, within its means, partly or fully fund the education needs of applicants based on both proven need and proven merit.
