Cindy Faux

DIRECTOR: PARAGON ARCHITECTS

Born in the Free State, Cindy completed a Personnel Management and Industrial Psychology course before starting at Musica in 1997. In 2000, she moved to Johannesburg, where she continued to work with Musica until 2007, running various stores and working with the Area and HR Managers in various capacities.

In mid-2007, she started with the Paragon Group under the title HR and Operations Manager; and in 2013, her title changed to General Manager of Operations. In 2016 she was appointed to the role of Director of HR and Operations and, as such, she holds a membership at the Institute of Directors of South Africa.

Cindy’s personal philosophy is that “action springs not from thought but from a readiness for responsibility” (Dietrich Bonhoeffer). Her greatest achievements are the training programmes that have been set up for the staff; the Staff Review programmes that run three times a year; and working hand-in-hand with the staff to make Paragon the place to be and work.

Cindy has special interests in psychology and the care of animals; and is currently working toward receiving her certification as a Life and Organizational coach.
